Overview

Based off MUI

Gesso Design System (@acromedia/gesso)​

is a package that consists of:

  • Component library that contains a number of prebuilt components, and layouts.
  • Storybook A visualization tool for organizing and displaying components and layouts
  • Figma A prototype/ design tool used for creating low/high fidelity designs and tokens.
    • Tokens are predefined variables that are used within the Gesso theme to control things like color, font, sizes, spacing, etc.

These three things combined create a "Design System"
